Spring Willows
April 7th, 2016
Spring (albeit damp) has arrived. Here are some beautiful pictures of the new willow whips planted in the watermeadow reserve earlier this year. These were planted in a particularly wet area of the reserve and will be an early pollen source for bees! As you can see they are growing really well!
The gorse on the sandmartin bank has really taken well to, this will stop the bank slipping once the roots get deep enough and will provide excellent cover for lots of species.
